The Youth Institute of Mexico City launches the 'Fight for the Neighborhood' tournament for young people aged 18 to 29. Winners will receive cash prizes and annual contracts.


Fight for the Neighborhood Tournament in Mexico City

The Institute of Youth (Injuve) of Mexico City has launched the call for participation in the "Fight for the Neighborhood" tournament in collaboration with the Brigade Dos de Tres Caídas and the company Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide. The objective of this tournament is to find the next wrestling star.

Participants must receive a confirmation email and present it printed on the day of the event. The prizes for the top three places include a cash prize and an annual contract to join the Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide wrestling team. Additionally, the tournament final will be recorded for television, and the finalists will appear on the Injuve and AAA social media.

The prizes for the winners are as follows: - First place: $10,000 plus an annual contract for the AAA Roster 2025. - Second place: $5,000 plus an annual contract for the AAA Roster 2025. - Third place: $3,000 pesos plus an annual contract for the AAA Roster 2025.

The "Fight for the Neighborhood" tournament is aimed at young people between the ages of 18 and 29 and is divided into the categories of Female Wrestlers, Male Wrestlers, Mini-Micro, and Exotics.

To register, interested parties can sign up until November 4 in the Un Hogar para Nosotros neighborhood, Miguel Hidalgo borough. In-person registration will take place at Utopía Meyehualco in Iztapalapa on November 7 starting at 8:30 AM. Documents must be sent in PDF format to the email luchaxelbarrio@gmail.com, such as the birth certificate, CURP, proof of address no older than 3 months, photo, and name of the character they will compete with.

If they cannot send the documents electronically, they may present them physically from October 22 to 25 at the Injuve offices located at Calzada México-Tacuba No. 235.
